When I was winding down my time on ConnectWith, my soon-to-be wife got a job offer in Northern New Jersey. So I left Pittsburgh and followed Erin to NNJ. Someone connected me with Interplay Ventures in Manhattan who runs a foundry/studio support system for startups. I was brought on-board as CEO/Founder of ForceOwl, a spinout from TwentyPine a Salesforce recruiting firm.
Our mission was to product-ize the entry level parts of the Salesforce job market. After putting the better part of a year into starting ForceOwl, we realized the energy and effort I was putting into the product growth could be better applied to the parent company, TwentyPine. So we spun down ForceOwl and I became TwentyPine's Director of Marketing.
